Thorough preparation is critical for proper bonding and long term performance. Begin with a complete wash and decontamination process including iron removal and clay treatment if needed. Perform paint correction as required, then wipe all surfaces with a proper panel prep solution to remove polishing oils and residue before application.
IDEAL INSTALL CONDITIONS
Install indoors in a clean, dust controlled environment. Recommended temperature range is 60°F to 75°F with low humidity for consistent flash times and even leveling. Proper lighting is essential to identify high spots and ensure a uniform finish.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Apply a small amount of coating to an applicator block and work in controlled sections using a crosshatch pattern for even coverage. Allow the product to flash based on temperature and humidity, then level and remove residue with clean microfiber towels. Inspect each panel carefully to ensure no high spots remain before moving to the next section.
CURING TIME
Initial cure typically occurs within 12 to 24 hours. The vehicle should remain dry and protected during this period. Full cure can take up to 5 to 7 days, at which point the coating reaches maximum hardness, chemical resistance, and durability.
